Lateral epicondylitis 💪 Lateral epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow, refers to inflammation of the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. All the wrist extensors have one common tendinous origin that is lateral epicondyle of humerus. Due to repetitive stress, some of the fibers of the extensors get teared and initiates inflammation to the lateral epicondyle of humerus.
